The NMFRC Technical Database contains abstracted and full-text articles from industry journals and other sources. Full-text documents are in Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF), HTML or plain text. To read PDF files you must download Adobe's free Acrobat Reader. As of Friday, May 9, 2008, the NMFRC Technical Database contains 7830 articles. Search the Database Search by keyword. This is the easiest way to get articles from the database. Search Plating and Surface Finishing. Search AESF and other Conference Papers (such as SUR/FIN). Search by ID number. If you know the database ID number, use this function to get to it quickly. AESF History Articles from 50 and 75 years Ago This exclusive NMFRC feature presents interesting monthly articles culled from past AESF publications printed 50 and 75 years ago in the Society’s publications. Each month one or two articles, announcements, advertisements or letters are selected and reprinted. Many of the articles initially selected from 1949-1950 (at that time, the journal was named Plating) deal with environmental technology and related issues. The selected articles from 1924 (American Electroplaters’ Society Monthly Review) deal mostly with organizational issues which faced the Society at that time. If you are an active AESF member, you will be able to relate to most of discussion carried in these articles. What do those icons mean?
